Kunhee Ryu

Background

I joined the Human Artificial Intelligence Research Lab as an undergraduate research assistant in 2021. I completed my B.S. in Creative Technology Management at Yonsei’s Underwood International College in 2023, followed by an M.S. in Innovation in 2025, advised by Professor Keeheon Lee.

My master’s research combined document retrieval and knowledge graphs for biomedical question answering. Since then, I have worked on agents for meta-analysis, how people verify AI answers, checkpoint selection, and the evaluation of sequential edits.

Research interests

My current work examines how language models use evidence and how to evaluate their decisions. I use controlled experiments to study model behavior, and interaction logs and interviews to understand how people check AI answers.

I’m also interested in learned representations that help agents predict the consequences of their actions. Research directions ↗
